A bubble film calibrator is used to check operation of air sampling equipment in a simple and easy operation.
Flow rates are calculated by attaching a sampling pump to the top of a volumetric glass tube containing a liquid soap. As the pump draws air through the tube the soap bubble moves from one marked point to the next. The time of travel can be measured with a stopwatch and the flow rate calculated.
The Low Flow Bubble Film Calibrator kit contains all the equipment required (except the stopwatch) for calibrating low flow personal sample pumps.
