An outdoor sound level meter system dedicated to monitoring environmental noise for constructions sites, acoustic map making, testing noise barrier efficiency and other environmental noise related purposes.
The system comes complete in a lockable weatherproof case containing the SVAN955 sound meter which, with the USB adaptor and memory stick, is capable of measuring for long periods of time (depending on the size of the memory stick) and can record the noise being measured to time history files for future playback and noise identification.
The weatherproof case is designed to withstand most weather conditions and has a battery capable of lasting up to 2 weeks before re-charghing. For longer measuring periods a power supply can also be used.
Software is included with the kit for data download and analysis. Optional software upgrade can be used to control the sound meter remotely via GPRS or LAN. The Remote Control software allows you to set up the sound meter and download data while the system is still in the field. Remote alarms via text or email are also implemented.
