The HAVmeter Base Station acts as a home for the HAVmeter units. Workers use a swipe card to release one of the HAVmeters which is then used for the duration of the working day or shift and returned to the Base Station at the end.
Up to 8 HAVmeter units can be attached to the Base Station.
The Base Station collects the data from the HAVmeter unit which can then be transferred to a PC for analysis. The HAVmeter unit is recharged while on the Base Station.
Data is transferred from the Base Station to a PC by a standard memory card. This information can then be easily loaded into the custom HAV management software and used to make sure employees are not exceeding recommended limits and monitor policy changes. It will be possible to see the effect of employee HAV awareness training quickly and easily by looking at how tool usage changes.
The base station is powered by mains or 12 volt supply allowing mobile teams to equip a van.
