The Tool Tag Programmer for the HAVmeter is a PDA which allows users to program new tool tags or re-program existing tool tags with up to date information about the tool that the tag is attached to.
Tool data is gathered in a spreadsheet then converted to the Tool Tag format and transferred to the PDA. Tool tags can then be programmed with the correct information before being attached to the tool.
As the PDA transfers data to the Tool Tag via a RFID radio signal older tags can be re-programmed without the need to remove the tag from the tool.
