Intended for general acoustic measurements the SVAN955 is a Class 1 sound meter ideally suited to environmental noise and occupational health and safety monitoring. Built in a robust case this is a sound meter designed for ease of use.
With 3 acoustic profiles the SVAN955 sound meter can take parallel measurements with independently defined filters and RMS detector time constants for results including Leq, LMax, LMin, LPeak, Spl, SEL etc. Real time statistical analysis can also be performed thanks to the computational power of this sound meter.
Advanced time history logging for each profile provides a complete set of data for measurements in the on-board 16MB or using an optional USB memory stick which can then be downloaded to a PC for analysis using the SvanPC+ noise analysis software.
The software also allows control of the sound meter for data download and setting up the meter for measurements. For remote access and control there is also a GPRS option which allows you to operate the meter via the internet.
The sound meter is powered by 4 AA batteries, a USB connection or via an external DC power supply.
